In his words of welcome to those who have come to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the nation he created, the President of this City-State leaves no doubt that the new Trump administration is moving in the direction of his ideology. Donald Trump is seeking to mark a historic break with the launch of <em>Freedom Cities<\/em><a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\"><em><strong>[2]<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. To date, none of these libertarian city-states has managed to make a lasting impact. But with the support of the US government, which is targeting Greenland among other countries<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>, that could change and have a knock-on effect.<\/p>\n<p>In this buoyant context, Jedlicka is enthusiastic about the prospects for the evolution of governance: <em>&#8220;I think it is becoming a moral obligation to prove to machines that we, as humans, are capable of organising ourselves reasonably before ceding control to them. I see this as another kind of mission for Liberland.
