{"id":43034,"date":"2017-11-15T23:11:05","date_gmt":"2017-11-15T22:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geab.eu\/\/en\/etats-unis-la-tentation-dun-qe-militaire\/"},"modified":"2018-12-03T15:42:54","modified_gmt":"2018-12-03T14:42:54","slug":"etats-unis-la-tentation-dun-qe-militaire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geab.eu\/en\/etats-unis-la-tentation-dun-qe-militaire\/","title":{"rendered":"United States: The temptation of a &#8220;Military QE&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>End 2017\/early 2018, all major Western Central Banks will be putting a final stop to the 2008 crisis-related unconventional monetary policies, namely the famous <em>quantitative easing <\/em>policies (QEs) which enabled to provide liquidity to those banks which saw their mutual confidence for borrowing collapse in the aftermath of the<em> subprime <\/em>crisis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fiscal QE in rich countries<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The European Central Bank, the Bank of England and the Bank of Japan are all approaching a slowdown in bond buyback. In Europe, Draghi has repeated it over and over again<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>: the Central Bank cannot do everything and therefore structural reforms of the euro are urgently needed.
