They are not the only ones in Europe<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>, despite the warnings and the risks which potential North American sanctions pose to European companies contravening the US policy<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>. The amounts of those contracts are significant and they refer to diverse sectors, such as traditional industry, energy (oil, gas &#8230;) and high-tech sectors like solar power plants, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.mehrnews.com\/news\/128765\/France-to-transfer-modern-water-technologies-to-Iran\">water technologies<\/a>. Infrastructures, transportation and environment are also concerned. The US \/ EU decoupling is underway, everybody knows that, starting with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/politics\/2017\/nov\/02\/boris-johnson-to-travel-to-us-in-bid-to-save-iran-nuclear-deal\">British<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzz.ch\/international\/aktuelle-themen\/trump-will-den-europaeern-nicht-das-geschaeft-mit-iran-vermiesen-ld.1323474\">President Trump<\/a> himself<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Palladium &#8230;<\/strong> Boom in palladium prices which rose by 43% in 2017 alone. Since September, its value exceeds that of platinum. This paradigm shift in the world of platinoids is a direct consequence of the dieselgate affair. Palladum is used in particular for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usinenouvelle.com\/article\/le-palladium-distance-le-platine.N607548\">catalysis of gasoline vehicles<\/a>, whilst platinum is used for diesel-powered vehicles. Beware of your catalytic converters, which are now highly coveted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2017-10-26\/palladium-surge-felt-on-chicago-streets-as-thieves-plunder-cars\">dealers<\/a> in precious metal industries. Other areas of palladium application include electronics and high tech.
