The United Kingdom has not been in the EU since January 2020. As a result, it has been cut off from access to the European GPS system, Galileo, which it had previously been a major contributor both in terms of science and money. Since 31 December, the British army no longer has access to the PRS (Public Regulated Service) reserved for EU members.<\/p>\n

The British government heard of this vexatious (and relatively logical) measure, and broadcast far and wide that it would be able to build of its own system.[1]<\/a> But it\u2019s no simple matter and we anticipate, for our part, that none of the options envisaged by the United Kingdom are realistic (in terms of cost or guarantee of sovereignty) and that, as far as Galileo is concerned in any case, we will soon move from Brexit to Breturn. Yet another U-turn.\t\t
