In our article A Quick Geo-Economic World Tour in issue 150 (December 2020), we stated that China had activated “the first ‘artificial sun’, i.e. the world’s first nuclear fusion reactor”. This statement caused several of our faithful readers to react, including Jean-Jacques Chaussard, who exchanged views with us to clarify the situation. Particularly interested in these exchanges and the prospects for technological advances in the energy sector that he pointed out, we decided to share them with all our subscribers.
It was also the perfect opportunity to inaugurate a new type of publication that we have been considering for a long time: “readers’ forums”. If you would like to put pen to paper and share your expertise and views on the future, please write to [email protected]. Login
