Eight paths for reimagining human society

ACTION

In the context of a global systemic crisis causing the collapse of absolutely all societal fundamentals, the first reaction is the hardening of all power structures faced with a crisis of legitimacy resulting from their inability to adapt to new challenges on the one hand, and the emergence of countless alternative proposals on the other. Surveillance, dehumanisation, conflict and terrorism become the norm, crushing a human society weakened by the failure of all the tools of good governance, such as education, democracy, health, redistribution of wealth, etc. But as it loses the support of its citizens, the more the system hardens, the more it malfunctions, creating the conditions for reflection, action and reinvention. Citizens must take matters into their own hands and stop waiting for solutions to come from above. With this in mind, here are eight areas of social reinvention that we consider to be the most complex and essential to resolve, which humans must tackle in order to reduce the duration of the obscurantism started in 2023.

Law and responsibility

If there is so much talk of the “rule of law” today, it is because it is in crisis. At the heart of the problem is a simple paradox: never before have individuals had so much power to act (to spread ideas, cause harm, mobilise, expose) and never before has it been so difficult to clearly identify who is responsible for what. Digital tools and AI multiply the effects of individual action, while social complexity fragments causes and blurs responsibilities.
