This GEAB issue will be focusing on the future of the monetary system, a topic which has been at the heart of the GEAB’s anticipation work for the past 16 years and requires regular updates. We will therefore look at the prospects unveiled by the Fed’s report on the development of a digital dollar; at the same time, we will be putting this small step forward in the context of the general shift of the planet towards digital currencies. These observations help to clarify a systemic vision of the future of money.
In addition to these monetary issues, the French presidential election is approaching. This represents one of the swift points the potential of which we are evaluating by taking as much distance as possible on the subject. A short diversion into the strange combination of air decarbonisation and agriculture that the Europeans are inaugurating will complete this issue, as well as our usual investment recommendations.
