Landmarks for Tomorrow: A little dive into posthumanist fictions

Article written by Mara Magda Maftei, University Professor at the University of Economic Studies in Bucharest, visiting scholar at the College of Global Studies, holder of a PhD in French literature (2009), a PhD in the history of economic thought (2007) and, more recently, an HDR defended in 2021 at the University of Paris Nanterre. She has published in French: Fictions posthumanistes (Éditions Hermann, 2022), Un Cioran inédit. Pourquoi intrigue-t-il? (Yves Michalon Éditeur/Éditions Fauves, 2016), Cioran et le rêve d’une génération perdue, (Harmattan, coll. “Ouverture philosophique”, 2013). She edited the issue no. 341/March 2021 of the Revue des Sciences Humaines devoted to “Transhumanism and Posthumanist Fictions” and co-directed a research project entitled “Transhumanism and Posthumanism between realities and imaginaries” at the University of Paris-Nanterre.
