Last safe haven investment: the earth

Two and a half years ago, we announced the gradual emergence of a major trend, the return to reality[1] after a decade of (admittedly creative) fantasies of desirable and programmable futures with a lot of tech and green politics. A year later, we went on to suggest that the West was about to realise that it had gotten its future wrong (cover story: Elon Musk ‘soaring’ into space).[2]
