The Espana 2050[1] project, presented by the Sanchez government on the 20th of May, brings together, in the form of 9 challenges, 50 objectives and 200 proposals,[2] a set of reform measures in the fields of education, healthcare, taxes, employment, pensions and environment, setting out the framework for a 30-year national strategy for Spain.[3] Produced under the aegis of the National Office of Foresight and Strategy (created for this purpose in May 2020), the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and the Commission in charge of Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight of the European Commission, it is the work of more than a hundred researchers, experts, academics, etc., from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds.
