The Ukrainian crisis is currently allowing many countries to advance their pawns. Turkey, in partnership with Israel and at the forefront of these actors, is inventing the future of the Caucasus and East Asia in the wake of the huge breakthrough named “Abraham Accords”.
A major step towards stabilising the region is in sight with the efforts of various countries to achieve a lasting peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The EU is among the powers supporting the process, as well as Turkey of course, Israel, but also Russia and the United States,[1] not to mention NATO[2]… Everyone is looking for an agreement that can open a desirable future for the South Caucasus and beyond.
