2024: An Arab protectorate for the Palestinian territories

We find ourselves precisely where we depicted the painful and violent transition to the world after, with what we referred to as the return of the logic of force in our GEAB178 of 15 October 2023. This situation aligns with the scenario we dared to describe in GEAB 133 of 15/03/2019: “Second quarter 2019: Epilogue to the creation of Greater Israel“: “the imminent launch of a rapid and brutal process for a Greater Israel (if we dare say…) “.

Even if provoked by Hamas, we can’t help but look at this conflict in the light of these articles, especially as the ignorance of the attack by Hamas on the part of Mossad, one of the best secret services in the world, may seem suspicious[1].

No truce, no ceasefire, despite urgent international appeals[2] (including from the United States[3], which nevertheless continues to supply Israel with weapons), Israel continues to pound Gaza and moves on to the next Palestinian pocket, Rafah. In the meantime, the government has reviewed its plan to annex the West Bank, which had been on hold since the Abu Dhabi normalisation agreement in September 2020, an agreement which expires in 2024[4].
